THE SKIN COLOUR HOODIE

PAMBI is a movement, a family, a collective linked by blood. From the origins of Matabeleland, PAMBI is moving forward. A state of mind found only in progressing pambilie. PAMBI is yours truly.

We are a collective of iqhawe (warriors) , artists, kids reforming the culture and attitudes towards hip-hop,r & b and fashion culture. We aim to create fashionable collections with a powerful meaning behind them in order to uplift and empower creatives around the world. As PAMBI we are not limited to the music and fashion industry as we believe life itself is the greatest form of art, thus we believe through our efforts, PAMBI will one day make a significant change in our world.

We pride ourselves on everything we do. From the way we carry ourselves, our images and the efforts we put into our work. This particular collection was made in partnership with our friends in Hong Kong, all handmade, all quality checked and all made with love. Sustainable products are used all throughout our packaging and any area we can learn to incorporate them moving forward.

Our goals consist of:

⁃ make a name for ourselves

⁃ build not only a brand but a family

⁃ let it be known that clothing is not just fabric, but it is a form of expression

⁃ be heard

We may be small now, but we’ll always dream big. This is PAMBI. This is who we are.

SKIN COLOUR. From a background of coloured skin, “skin colour” was always an awkward topic, fast forward ten years and issues of segregation, discrimination and humiliation to people of colour still occur.

This is not our fault, divide and conquer is an aeon long strategy to divide and destroy the people. 

This piece is a symbol of unity for people of all backgrounds, whether light or dark, rich or poor, famous or modest at the end of the day the walls that separate us are social constructs, we are all people you and I share so much more in common than we differentiate. Use this as a reminder to treat all people equal, treat all with kindness.
